To help protect our customers from these growing threats, NDTC is taking proactive steps to strengthen the security of our SmartHub billing and payment system.
We’re introducing two-factor authentication (2FA)—an added layer of protection that makes it significantly harder for cybercriminals to access your account, even if they’ve managed to obtain your password.
How 2FA Works
When you login, 2FA requires two forms of identification:
- Your usual username and password
- A unique code sent to your mobile device or email address
This simple extra step ensures that even if someone knows your password, they can’t get into your account without access to your phone or email.

Implementing 2FA allows us to uphold our commitment to protecting your account and ensuring that your online transactions are secure. It also gives you peace of mind—knowing your information is safer from unauthorized access.
